Terms of Service

1. Accounts#

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that business.
• Give accurate information and keep your login details, verification codes and API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity in your account and workspace, including by other members of your workspace and anyone using your API keys.
• Tell us promptly at support@getsurfaced.in if you believe your account or a key has been compromised.

2. What the Service does#

Surfaced fetches publicly available pages of websites you add, and of the competitors you list, and analyses them for technical SEO, page speed, answer engine optimisation (AEO) and AI visibility. It uses third-party services, including Google PageSpeed Insights, Open PageRank and the Claude API from Anthropic, and produces scores, findings, recommendations and reports that can be viewed, shared and emailed.

• Reports are informational. Scores, AI answers, traffic and authority figures are estimates based on automated checks and third-party data that may be incomplete, delayed or wrong.
• AI-visibility results reflect the answers our AI model gave to sample questions at the time of the audit. Other AI assistants, and the same one at another time, may answer differently.
• Recommendations, including AI-generated code and markup, are suggestions. Review and test them before using them on a live website. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic, visibility or business result.

3. Acceptable use#

You agree not to:

• use the Service on websites in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others, or to access anything that is not publicly available;
• use the Service, the API or the MCP server to overload, attack, probe for vulnerabilities in, or disrupt any website or system, including ours;
• get around credit charges, rate limits, daily limits or plan limits, or create accounts to collect free credits repeatedly;
• resell or provide API access to third parties as a standalone service without our written permission;
• send reports to people who have not agreed to receive them, or use our email delivery for spam or any message that is not a Surfaced report or notice;
• copy, reverse engineer or scrape the Service, except as the law expressly allows.

We may limit, suspend or block use that breaks this section or puts the Service or others at risk.

4. Credits, prices and payment#

• The Service is paid for with prepaid credits, bought in packs shown on the pricing and Billing pages. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details.
• A report costs 1 credit, plus 1 credit for every 3 AI-visibility questions it asks. The cost is shown before you run a report and is deducted when the report is queued. If a report fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
• Single-page checks and llms.txt drafts through the API or MCP are free within the daily limits shown in the documentation. We may change or withdraw free features and free credits at any time.
• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees. Where international payments are available, the amount and currency are shown at checkout. Applicable taxes are charged as shown at checkout.
• Credits do not expire while your account is active. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred between workspaces, and are refundable only as described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
• We may change pack prices or how many credits a report costs. Changes apply only to purchases and reports after the change, and we will give notice on the website or by email before a change to report costs takes effect.

5. API and MCP access#

API keys belong to a workspace and use its credits. Keep them secret and revoke any key you no longer need in Settings. Requests are subject to rate limits and daily limits, which we may adjust to protect the Service. When you connect an AI tool, that tool acts on your instructions, and you are responsible for the actions it takes with your key.

6. Your content and reports#

• You keep all rights in the information you provide, such as site details, descriptions, competitor lists, recipient lists, logos and brand settings ("Your Content"). You give us a limited licence to host, process and transmit Your Content only to provide and improve the Service.
• You confirm you have the right to use the logos, brand assets and email addresses you add, including those extracted from your clients' websites at your request.
• Subject to these terms, the reports generated for you are yours to use, share and send to your clients.
• Anyone with a report's share link can view that report. Share links only with people you want to see it.

7. Third-party services#

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, payments, sign-in and data. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control, and their own terms apply where relevant. Websites you audit may block or rate-limit automated access, which can affect results.

8. Our intellectual property#

The Service, its software, design, documentation and the Surfaced name and logo belong to AS IT Solutions or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. Feedback you send may be used by us without obligation.

9. Availability and changes#

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, add or remove features, and may carry out maintenance that briefly interrupts the Service. Features described as beta or preview may change or be withdrawn.

10. Suspension and closing your account#

• You can stop using the Service at any time and can ask us to close your account by writing to support@getsurfaced.in.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, fails to pay, or creates risk or legal exposure for us or others. Where we close an account without such a reason, we will refund the unused credits from paid packs.
• Sections that by their nature should survive closure, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, continue to apply.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability#

• To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including fitness for a particular purpose and that results will be accurate or uninterrupted.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, rankings, data or goodwill.
• Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity#

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs arising from claims by third parties caused by your breach of these terms, your use of the Service in breach of law, or Your Content.

13. Governing law and disputes#

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer where you live. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.

14. Changes to these terms#

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes we will notify account owners by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
